In years gone by, politicians, would on occasion, become embarrassed about being caught in a lie, or a contradiction. That’s no longer the case. To even have a chance of deciphering what they really mean, you need to understand their terminology. The following information may help.

An interesting thing about politicians, they can have a number of home states. Even being incarcerated for a period of time in a state may qualify for a politician to claim status as a favorite son in that state.

So, how can you tell when a politician is involved in a filibuster and not just rambling aimlessly, I have no idea. However, as a rule of thumb, if a bill is brought forward to help you and a member of Congress opposes the bill and is spewing nonsense, it could well be a filibuster.
