White Sox Continue to be a Dumpster Fire
The hiring of Chris Getz as GM perpetuates the problem.
White Sox fans generally rejoiced when the team cut loose longtime decision makers Kenny Williams and Rick Hahn. I use the term “decision makers” regarding Williams and Hahn, though there is some doubt about who was making what decisions. After all, the fiasco that was the Tony LaRussa hiring was Reinsdorf’s idea. After all it would be hard for just one guy to make as many bad decisions as have been made by the White Sox organization.
And speaking of Tony LaRussa…
LaRussa has been a consultant to Jerry Reinsdorf regarding the direction the franchise should take. So, I’m guessing Tony thought the firing of Williams and Hahn was a good idea. Of course, that was also the thinking of pretty much every other White Sox fan.
I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that Williams and Hahn thought the hiring of LaRussa was a bad idea. Once again, pretty much every White Sox fan thought the LaRussa hiring stunk.
The White Sox seem to have formed the perfect circular firing squad.
