Variations of the “Philadelphia Experiment”
Other cities want their own experiments.
Back in 1984 a movie called, “The Philadelphia Experiment” was released. It starred Michael Pare and Nancy Allen. Based on something, an urban legend, wild theory or possibly a story with a grain of truth, the story revolved around the US government's efforts to make their ships invisible.
That was the Philadelphia Experient, but what if other cities or states wanted their own experiments? Here are some regionalized variations of the Philadelphia Experiment:
1: The New York Experiment.
In the New York Experiment, gangster types make witnesses disappear by various means. In the Philadelphia Experiment, some of the participants resurfaced. In the New York Experiment, participants would also sometimes resurface, in the East River. (Maybe I’ve watched too many “Law and Order” episodes.)
2: The Washington D. C. Experiment.
The Washington D. C. Experiment focused on the occasional well-meaning public servant entering the city, but subsequently having their ethics disappear.
Another oddity about the city of Wahington D. C., moral compasses are rendered useless there.
