I’ve enjoyed Phil Collins work for a number of years. His songs are easy to listen to and he looks like an easy guy to visit with. Sort of like your accountant. Only more interesting. Not knowing a whole lot about Phil, I decided to take a deeper dive. Here are some things I found.

1: Phil has a bunch of Alamo-related artifacts.

Collins is one of the wealthiest members of the British music industry. He would be even wealthier but…

3: Collins has been married and divorced three times.

He’s paid out $84 million in divorce settlements. Doesn’t sound like he’s been dealing with “Easy Lovers.”

4: A viral infection cost him the hearing in his left ear.

Listening to loud music has cost many of his fans some of their hearing.

5: His parents bought him a drum set when he was five.
