Things You Didn’t Know About Fabio
He had a hard time telling what real butter was.
I often write about icons from the past. Generally, actors, singers, etc. But I saw a picture of Fabio and it brought memories from the 80s. I remember Fabio primarily as a model for romance novels. Based on the fact that Fabio almost always had his shirt unbuttoned, I wonder if he had his chest insured.
Just a couple of other things that I remembered about Fabio. I remember he couldn’t believe that the margarin, “I Can’t Believe it’s not Butter” wasn’t butter. So, he was a guy unconvinced by facts. I also remember him riding a ride at an amusement park and allegedly being hit the face by a flying goose. More on that latter. So now, here are some things you probably didn’t know about Fabio.
1: Fabio has made numerous cameos in movies and TV as himself.
It worked out well. He had studied for that role all his life.
2: Fabio has an older brother named Walter, and a younger sister named Cristina.
His older brother has been described as “short and bald.” Sometimes the hair gene skips a brother.
