He’s kind of a big thing here in Oklahoma.

Since I post almost daily, I’m constantly looking for something to write about. Sometimes a news story triggers an idea. Such was the case for this story. I read a story from here in Oklahoma and it was mind-boggling. It revolves around what looks like a homicide.

So, two guys go noodling.

“What is noodling?’ you ask. Noodling basically involves going along a riverbank and reaching into whatever crevices are in the riverbanks and hoping to grab hold of a catfish.

Of course, catfish aren’t the only creatures in those riverbanks. Suffice to say, these guys' tastes were somewhat rustic. While noodling, things went terribly wrong.

Here’s where Bigfoot comes in.

It seems the guy who came back from noodling alive killed the other guy. The reason? It seems he became convinced the deceased was going to leave him in the wild to be killed by Bigfoot. It also seems alcohol may have played a role in the incident.

If I’m going to reach into a crevice in a riverbank blindly, I’m pretty sure alcohol would have to be involved.

Maybe the perpetrator wasn’t as far off as you think.
