These Things Can Damage Your Self-Image

Lots of us have had credit issues at one time or another. Many car dealers and other businesses try to target folks with a sketchy credit history. In exchange for paying a higher interest rate, individuals with a low credit score can buy a car, furniture, jewelry, or whatever. But there is a potential downside to that arrangement.
One car dealership in my area advertises a 99% acceptance rate. That sounds great. Unless you are part of the 1% that gets turned down. How bad does your credit have to be to get turned down in that situation? It’s got to be depressing to realize your credit is in the bottom 1%.
Many people are concerned about the plight of animals on planet Earth. Different organizations are popping up in an effort to help. I see one organization offering to help you symbolically adopt an elephant. But what if you try to symbolically adopt an elephant and can’t pass the background check? Bummer!
