The Warriors Need More of Steph Curry and Less of Draymond Green
Green’s act belongs in the WWE.
The Golden State Warriors dropped the second game of their playoff series to the Sacramento Kings to go down 2–0 in their matchup. Steph Curry put up 28 points for the Warriors in a losing effort. The problem is the Warrior making the biggest news is Draymond Green.
Green made news by stomping on Domantas Sabonis. Green and Sabonas got tangled up and Sabonis ended up on the court. It seemed that Green freed himself by stomping on Sabonas’ chest and pushing off.
As the refs huddled together to determine the right call, fans hurled down derogatory remarks on Green. Green responded by climbing on a chair and egging the crowd on.
Green’s act is getting tiresome
Some say Green plays with an edge. Others say he is dirty. To me, it seems like he may the NBA career leader in kicks to an opponent’s groin. Green has also shoved opponents, but that hardly makes him unique in the NBA. However, it seems that Green has added to his repertoire this season. He began the year by punching teammate, Jordan Poole. Now he’s added a chest stomp.
To Green’s credit, his game seems to be evolving as he’s getting older.
