The Planets of our Solar System is Like a Dysfunctional Family
And yes, I’m including Pluto.
I’m not real scientifically inclined, but sometimes certain facts catch my attention. Recently some information regarding Jupiter caught my eye. It got me to thinking of the planets in our solar system as a family. A family with some dark secrets. With that in mind, I will start with the new information about Jupiter and go from there.
Stay away from Jupiter.
I’m not talking about humans, I’m talking about planets. We all know that Jupiter is the biggest of the planets. It’s about 300 times as big as earth. So, how did Jupiter get that big? Well, one possibility mentioned in Astronomy and Astrophysics is Jupiter eats other planets. It’s like Jupiter is the Hannibal Lecter of planets.
The theory is that the remains of other planets are inside Jupiter. So, did Jupiter finally get a planetoscopy? The revelation of Jupiter’s cannibalism came when Jupiter’s gas lifted a little bit.
So, is Jupiter a gassy cannibal? It seems that way.
Is Uranus the least popular planet?
How did Uranus get that name? Was it discovered by a scientist with that name? Did whoever gave it that name not think of the repercussions of that name? I…
