The Most Broken New Year’s Resolutions and Why They are Broken
Some resolutions aren’t realistic.
We are about two weeks into the new year. That means that about 90% of New Year’s resolutions have been broken. Often times, people want to improve their lives and want to take steps that will work in that direction. Still, despite their best efforts, things don’t work out. Let’s take a look at a few specific resolutions and why they didn’t work out.
1: Get rid of the negativity in your life,
What a great idea, but sometimes it doesn’t work. Say your in-laws are toxic. Sure you would like to tell them to back off. However, if you do that, your spouse is quickly going to be a negative factor in your life. And it’s really hard to tell somebody to take a hike when you’re living with them.
2: Enjoy music every day.
It’s a great way to break up your day. This is not to be confused with facing the music, which can be unpleasant.
3: Keep up with your laundry every day.
This is often confused with airing your dirty laundry. That’s not a good idea.
