Thanks for the insight Christine. My default position is one of skepticism. That comes with having life kick you in the groin numerous times. Having said that, I don't see the need for writers to bash Medium.

If they want to leave, leave. I also don't see the idea of being paid for recruiting new subscibers as a bad thing. I guess that's because to me, this is a business, not an art house.

It just happens to be a business I enjoy.
