While Medium isn't a gold mine, a lot my stories have earned over $100, with some going on to make $300, $400 and more. My top earner is at over $1300, with earnings still trickling in.

In addition, with Medium you can actually promote your work inside the platform itself. Medium, in some respects, is a hybrid of writing and platform interaction.
