Strange Stuff about the O J Simpson Murder Trial
It probably was ‘The Trial of the Century.”
Anymore it seems like events that are supposed to happen every one hundred years happen every couple of years. We hear about the football Game of the Century,” the “100 Year Storm,” and of course, “The Sale of the Century.” That last one generally refers to arms or state secrets being sold to nefarious characters. But when it comes to court trials, the murder trial of O. J. Simpson really did live up to that billing.
By this time, I’m pretty sure everyone has made up their mind about the guilt or innocence of Simpson. Surveys over the years have indicated more and more people think Simpson was guilty of the murders. That’s true to the point that even though opinions are sharply divided along racial lines, the majority of black people now think Simpson was guilty.
I know legendary comedian Norm McDonald did, as evidenced by his work on SNL’s Weekend Update.
So, here are some things you might not know about the O J Simpson trial, and its aftermath.
1: Years after his acquittal in his murder trial, Simpson had a prank show called, ‘Juiced.”
