I write fairly regularly on both Medium and News Break. My stuff generates quite a few comments. Generally speaking, the comments on Medium are much more positive. I have regular readers on Medium who provide a lot of positive feedback. I have a lot of random readers on News Break who provide some insults and just plain dumb comments.

Some readers ask legitimate, thoughtful questions. On occasion I will try to answer them. As for insults, I generally ignore them. If they are particularly egregious, I will delete them.

And finally, if a reader clicks on a link to another article, I have to consider if the reader will click back to my article. If somebody actually clicks on my article, I’m not sure I want to send them away.

2: How about some pictures.

Good idea. I’d love to have more pertinent pictures with my pieces. So, where can I…

You probably don't know my name, but have likely seen my work. I've written for numerous syndicated cartoon strips and my gags have appeared in national pubs.
