The music industry was recently rocked by a lawsuit filed by Ruby Red Dress, Delta Dawn and Lola of, ‘Copacabana”, fame. The lawsuit states the music industry used their personal stories of distress for monetary gain without their permission. Each of their stories is compelling.

The Sad Tale of Ruby Red Dress

Ms. Red Dress’ story centers around an unpleasant encounter with a man who, “taught it all to Ruby” and then just let her be. The man involved was allegedly a farm boy from Tennessee. After the encounter, Ms. Red Dress apparently suffered some kind of mental breakdown. Rather than seeking help for his mentally distressed daughter, Mr. Red Dress, “tried to keep things cool”.

Ms. Red Dress also developed an eating disorder which led to weight gain and resulted in further ridicule for Ms. Red Dress. She was stuck with the unflattering moniker, “Big Old Ruby Red Dress’.

Ms. Red Dress, after being traumatized by an unpleasant sexual encounter, subsequently developed an eating disorder. The resulting weight gain, lack of family and community support helped contribute to Ms. Red Dress’ downward spiral. She was further victimized by the music industry profiting off her woeful story.
