Michael Irvin is Once Again Embroiled in Controversy

ESPN has pulled Michael Irvin from its Super Bowl coverage. This comes after an allegation of misconduct on the part on Irvin towards a woman.
Irvin has told multiple sources that the encounter was brief and mostly non-physical. Irvin further said he was baffled by allegation. “The “Dallas Morning News” reports that Glendale police have not received a complaint involving Irvin. Irvin’s history, however, may be hurting him.
A quick history of Irvin’s legal problems
In 2017 Irvin was accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Florida. Ultimately, the Broward County State Attorney’s office closed the investigation without charging Irvin.
In January 2009 Irvin was the alleged victim of an alleged attempted carjacking. The incident reportedly took place in Dallas. Irvin reported two guys flashed a gun in an attempt to carjack his car. The potential thieves then curtailed their criminal endeavor and remarked they were Cowboys fans. After two weeks the police investigation into the incident was suspended with the police reporting Irvin was not cooperating with the investigation.
