I Feel Good About My 2021 Fantasy Football Team
Feel free to take a look and offer suggestions.
For the last couple of years, I’ve played in a fantasy football league. Actually, I played in two last year. The one that has my attention now is a keeper league I joined last year. When I say it’s a keeper league, it’s a modified keeper league. We keep four players from last season. One of those players has to be a rookie. With that in place, it basically means the first four rounds of our upcoming draft are set. Last year was a disaster for me. Three of my first five picks were Saquon Barkley, Courtland Sutton, and Dak Prescott. Things went bad, real bad.
The plus side of that is I get the second pick in the upcoming draft. While I was floundering last season, I did make a couple of trades that will help this season. I traded Bears WR, Allen Robinson for Raiders TE, Darren Waller, and a second-round pick. Keep in mind that second-round pick amounts to a sixth-round pick since everyone keeps four players from last year.
I also traded Todd Gurley and a fifth/ninth pick for Austin Eckler. Eckler was on the injured list at the time. Eckler, along with Waller are two of my four keepers. My rookie keeper is Cam Akers, who I picked up waivers last season. Considering it’s a 14 team PPR league, that looks pretty good.
