Some guys have dealt with follicle issues at an early age. While I’ve had a lot of aging issues, generally speaking, my hair has stayed with me. Though lately, I seem to have noted some regression along the flanks. While I’m not ready to take action just yet, it did get me to thinking about baldness in general.

Male pattern baldness isn’t necessarily bad

When something has a pattern to it, it seems generally easier to deal with. I think random baldness would be much tougher to take. I read where typically, the hairline in male pattern baldness starts off as an M and eventually transforms into a U.

It kind of reminds of a college band at a halftime show. The band moves around and changes formation. Unfortunately, what might be cool for a college band isn’t so cool when it’s happening on your head. In addition, it’s not so much a matter of hair changing locations, it’s a matter of them dropping out of the band.

Think of your head of hair as a continent

It seems like the actual continents have changed in appearance over time. The same is true of your head/continent. While your hair may start of as a continent, over a period of time, global warming/old age may result in a…
