Fundamental Tips for Selling Your Home

My wife and I have been thinking about moving into a smaller home. In the course of looks at homes, it became abundantly clear, some sellers are clueless.

We were looking at mobile homes in a seniors’ park and came across two in the same park. One was, neat clean, and had everything in order. The other, not so much.

We showed up to take a look at the second place at the appointed time. We were soon greeted by an old guy without a shirt. I’m glad we called ahead for an appointment, otherwise, I’m afraid to think about what we might have encountered.

The place did have an impressive about of junk and garbage and car parts around it. I think I might have been able to negotiate those into the price if I had tried. After taking note of that, we ventured inside. It was just as appealing as the outside.

Don’t get me wrong. I don’t want to get on somebody’s case for having a dirty house or carport, but at least put a shirt on when you’re trying to sell a place. That applies whether you’re a man or a woman. (I don’t want to be sexist.) Also, at least try to clean up. It seems like the people in the mobile home had started a cleaning pilot plan.
