In what came as no surprise to some observers, Fox News settled the lawsuit brought against them by Dominion Votong Systems for a cool $787.5 million. In addition to the monetary part of the settlement, Dominion CEO, John Poulos, said Fox has admitted to telling lies.

So what are the ramifications of this? Will Fox be forced to tell the truth in the future? How will this play out with Fox viewers? What other parts of the settlement are we unaware of? Well, I’m glad you asked. Here are some yet unreported things that aren’t known about the settlement and Fox.

By the way, this is satire. So, unlike Fox, I’m letting you know this stuff may contain some bogus information. Okay, lots of bogus information.

1: Fox’s admission of lies creates a philosophical dilemma.

If a liar tells you they’ve been lying, do you believe them?

2: Fox considered a new slogan.

One potential slogan was, “Tell us what you want to hear, and we’ll say it.” Ok, that’s bogus. I went all Fox News on you there.
