She’s more than a pretty woman.
Julia Roberts is probably best known for her work in Pretty Woman. You may remember it as the story of how a rich guy and a call girl found happiness ever after. I’m actually a little vague of details as I haven’t actually seen the movie. I am, however, familiar with a little bit of her work.
She was in one of the ultimate chic flicks, Steel Magnolias. And, I have to admit, I’ve seen it and thought it wasn’t bad. Of course, I thought the older women carried the film. Still, Julia has an impressive body of work. Let’s take a look at some facts about Julia Roberts.
1: Roberts received $25 million to star in “Mona Lisa Smile,” the highest amount ever paid to an actress at that time.
No wonder Mona Lisa was smiling.
2: Julia married Lyle Lovett on June 25, 1993. The marriage did not last long term.
How did Julia feel about being married to Lyle? She didn’t Lovett. Sorry. The two, do however, remain friends.
