Jeff Goldblum has had a sneaky good career. He’s been part of the Jurassic Park franchise, the Independence Day franchise, and even found time to be a bad guy and get killed in one of my favorite westerns, Silverado. He made up for that in real life, however, by marrying Patricia Gaul, who played Emmet and Jake’s sister.

Jeff just gives off a little bit of a quirky vibe, but not in a bad way. He often plays highly intelligent characters, and he plays them convincingly. And it seems that many young women consider him a hottie. That came as a surprise to me. Against this limited background, here are some things you didn’t know about Jeff Goldblum.

1: Jeff began his acting career in the Charles Bronson movie, “Death Wish.”

He is credited as Freak #1. Maybe ‘quirky’ isn’t quite strong enough.

2: Continuing with that theme, Jeff played scientist Seth Brundle in “The Fly.

The character, who became, “The Fly.” has been called “brilliant but eccentric.” Once again, “quirky” comes to mind.
