Facts About George C Scott
The guy seemed seriously intense to me.
While he was an actor of note, I haven’t watched a lot of George C Scott’s movies. One impression I have about Scott is his extreme intensity. I understand extreme intensity when playing General Patton, but it seemed like most all of his characters were extremely intense. It seems like Scott was also an intense guy in real life.
Going into this article, I knew less about thew subject than I do in most cases. Therefore, I had an opportunity to learn more about the subject than I usually do. So here are some things you might not have known about George C Scott and that I probably didn’t either.
1: Scott was married five times and one of his wives gave him a nickname.
Wife number four, Colleen Dewhurst (who was also wife number three), called him GC. Hey, I said she gave him a nickname, I didn’t say it was an imaginative one.
2: Scott refused his nomination as Best Supporting Actor for his work in “The Hustler.”
