11 Facts About Daniel Craig
He’s perhaps the most versatile actor to have played James Bond.
While Sean Connery would probably pole as the most popular James Bond, Daniel Craig would likely rank high on most lists of the best James Bonds. I have to say, I’m not familiar with much of Craig’s work. I know he played Paul Newman’s spoiled gangster son in The Road to Perdition. I also saw him on the Sci Fi western, Outlaws and Aliens.
I obviously have some research to do, but I did note that he has been the guest host on SNL three times. He’s also played gay characters post-Bond. I believe he’s the only guy who played James Bond to have done that.
1: There was some controversy regarding the casting of Craig as Bond since he is 5'10" and blond.
That’s amazing. I heard some talk that there could have been a black James Bond or a female James Bond. I guess Daniel Craig was an example of baby steps.
2: Craig had an uncredited part as a stormtrooper in Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens. His character had a Jedi mind trick played on him.
What was really embarrassing was it was the old, “Got Your Nose Trick.”
