Facts About Cher, Part 2
Hers has been a colorful life.
Out of all the people I’ve written about, Cher is the only one that I have broken down into two segments. I started writing about her and realized just how much information there was about her and her illustrious career. So, here is the next installment of facts about Cher. And here we go.
1: Cher’s mother, Georgia Holt, was born in Kensett, Arkansas. And like Cher she was a model, actress and singer.
Georgia has been married seven times, to six different men. But only one at a time.
2: In 2013, at the age of 86, Georgia’s Hony Tonk Woman album made it to number 83 on country charts.
So look for Cher to be charting for a lot more years.
3: As an adult Cher discovered she had dyslexia.
She was diagnosed after fans noticed her autographs were spelled, REHC.
4: Cher is credited with helping to rescue the world’s loneliest elephant.
No, not Mitch McConnell. This was an actual elephant named Kavaan who was in a zoo in Pakistan and living in miserable…
