I’m sure there are some legitimate charities out there. I’m also sure there are a lot of ripoffs. As a public service announcement and in yet another attempt to make a buck, I present the Top Ten Bogus Charities.

10: Big Hair for Televangelists.

How is a guy, or gal for that matter supposed to help people find the Lord with mediocre hair? Really, this is an indirect gift offering. By helping a televangelist get bigger hair, it may help the TV evangelist pull bigger ratings and help some poor wretch find salvation. Or not. Remember, big hair is the key. Think fo the sinner, not just the hair.

9: Send a Clown to Clown College.

Clowndom is a cutthroat world. It’s hard for a clown to make with just a clown high school diploma, or even a clown GED. What’s that you say? You don’t like clowns? Well, keep in mind if an aspiring clown can’t cut it in clowndom, he may become tempted to become a mime.
