Over a period of years, some of us develop certain abilities, dare I call them superpowers. Marriage and having kids help us develop them. They are in many cases, survival skills.

Below are ten superpowers evident in some married people. See if you have any of these.

1: Telepathy. Some married people can tell what their spouse is thinking without a word being said. I occasionally possess this power. Based on the expression on my wife’s face, I can tell she thinks I’m an idiot.

2: Bull-ray vision. While Superman had x-ray vision parents sometimes develop an ability to determine when their kids are giving them a line of bull.

3: Gravity negation. As we get older gravity conspires against us. That’s when we fight that trend with super wisdom. And support clothes of various types.

4: Time acceleration. Being married can sometimes make ten years seem like twenty. Just kidding. That could be a three-dayer.

5: Photokinesis. That power involves controlling light and its properties. Married people can sometimes acquire this power after they amass enough wealth to buy a clapper.
