Bulgarian Squats and Other Exercises I Won’t Be Doing

I will, however, mention some strange names for exercises.

I have a good friend who, unlike myself, works at staying in shape by doing such radical things as exercising. In talking with him, it turns out exercises have changed since I attempted them. My friend briefly dislocated his hip while doing something called Bulgarian squats. Let that settle in for a minute. That brought questions to my mind.

How does a Bulgarian squat different from an American squat? And doesn’t Bulgarian squats sound like a medical condition? I can imagine a trip to the doctor going something like:

Doctor: What seems to be the problem?

Me: I think I have I have the Bulgarian squats.

Doctor: There’s been a lot of that going around. I suggest you stay out of gyms.

Me: Don’t worry, I will.

Actually, Bulgarian squats sounds like a gastro-intestinal issue. I could make a bunch of jokes of that nature, but I won’t. That would be low hanging fruit. Which also sound like a medical condition afflicting old people.

So, for now, here are some more strange sounding exercises I came across. Oh, by the way, that’s image isn’t of me.

1: Fun Run.

You probably don't know my name, but have likely seen my work. I've written for numerous syndicated cartoon strips and my gags have appeared in national pubs.
