Being an Insect is Even Tougher Than You Think
Consider these issues.
We are all aware of issues faced by humans in various segments of society, but let’s change focus for just a minute. Consider the plight of some insects.
I think I have to put dung beetles at the bottom of the insect hierarchy. I’ve worked at jobs I didn’t like, but these guys burying and eating dung all day may be even worse than some telemarketing jobs I had. Plus, it can’t be good for their social life. These guys have to have a mint on them at all times.
If you think you have a terrible job, think about the dung beetle, he probably deals with more, “stuff”, on the job than you do.
Black widow spiders carry a lot of social and emotional baggage with them. While some females kill their mates after mating, not all do. Still, the real possibility of this happening would seem like a good argument for abstinence, but apparently some guys, er, male spiders don’t consider that an option.
