Attention All Mother Teresas and Albert Schwitzers on Zoom: Lighten Up
Writers talking about making money on zoom can actually be beneficial.
During the month of June I was going against some scheduling headwinds but still made $918.35. Based on some of the pieces I’ve read on zoom, that statement will immediately turn off some Medium readers. Whether to post your earnings on Medium or not has become a hot issue, like wearing a mask, getting vaccinated, or the ever-popular, “less filling-tastes great argument.
Personally, I don’t care if you post your earnings or not. I find it interesting that those who choose not to post are judgmental of those who do. Like they have established some kind of moral high ground.
I have found that at any given time I can find a number of articles talking about the impending doom of zoom. Frankly, I find the articles to be less than convincing. Do you know what would convince me that Medium was about to do a crash and burn? Consistent writers starting to see their earnings diminish.
I seem to have reached a plateau.
