A Cartoonish Look at Weddings

Sometimes there are clues there is trouble ahead.

When my wife and I got married close 50 years ago, it wasn’t a huge wedding. We got married in some friends’ home and had about ten people there. Fortunately for me, my wife wasn’t bent on a large wedding. It seems like so many people worry more about the wedding than the marriage.

Weddings often take on a circus atmosphere. Having said that, on to a cartoonish look at weddings.

I wonder if the groom used the, “I’m actually a prince” line on the bride. That until croaking concept is rare now days. Today it’s more like, “Until I can trade up.”

Well, he did live up to his contract so to speak. Hopefully he didn’t think of death as the marital escape clause.
