15 Facts About New Hampshire

Does anybody not from New England know anything about that place.

Out of all the regions of the United States, I probably know the least about New England. And even out of the New England states, I may know the least about New Hampshire. I do know that as a state, it is old and small. Sort of like me, except for the small part.

A real quick glance at some facts tells me it’s known as the “Granite State.” In addition, America’s 14th president, Franklin Pierce, was from New Hampshire. Coincidentally, I also know almost nothing about Franklin Pierce. Please follow along as I explore some more facts about New Hampshire.

1: The state has no state income tax, and the state motto is, “Live Free or Die.”

I wonder if the state has an exceptionally high mortality rate.

2: The Bath-Haverhill Covered Bridge, which was built in 1829 and is one of the oldest covered bridges in the United States.

Maybe if they had a state income tax, they could get some new bridges.
