I’ve had an unusual relationship with the genius.

I really should have done more research on Einstein earlier. I’ve been mistaken for him and compared to him. I don’t know how many times I’ve been called Einstein. For example, I’ve heard, “Hey Einstein, you’re parked over here!” Or “Hey Einstein, that’s ladies’ room!”

And then there are the comparisons with Einstein. They started when I was in school. I don’t know how many teachers I heard say, “Thet Lambert is no Einstein!”

Well, that’s their opinion. The people referred to the first paragraph had a different opinion. With that background, here are some things you might not know about Albert.

1: Albert turned down a chance to be President of Israel.

Einstein said he didn’t have the experience and aptitude in dealing with people that was needed. Plus, he had no experience in reality TV.

2: He has an element named after him.

Element number 99 was named after him shortly after his death in 1955. The element’s name,? Einsteinium. By coincidence I have also had an element named after me. The element’s name? No, not lambertium, the element of surprise. Though that’s sort of unofficial.

3: His last words…
