14 Facts About Frank Sinatra
Ah, the leader of the Rat Pack.
While not crazy about Frank’s work, I do like many of his songs. I tend to like his music better than his movies. Actually, in trying to think of my favorite Sinatra movie, I’m coming up blank. I can think of a few Sinatra movies, just none that I have a hankering to see again. Still, Frank was one of the biggest entertainers in the world during the twentieth century, so hopefully he’ll generate some reads.
With that raw, crass commercial statement out of the way, here are some things you might not have known about Frank Sinatra.
1: Frank’s birth was aided by forceps, but there was a problem.
The forceps left Frank with severe injuries to his left cheek, neck, and ears. When Frank grew up, I’m not sure what injuries the doctor suffered.
2: Frank’s mother dressed him in pink.
The movie, “Pretty in Pink” is based on that. Hang on, being told that’s not true.
3: His biographer, Darwin Porter, claims Frank starred in a porn movie.
The alleged starring role was in a movie called, “The Masked Bandit.” Maybe the bandit should have moved his mask.
