I know what you’re thinking, an article Charlie’s Angels will feature lots of salacious stuff, and perhaps show a lot of skin. Will, as you can probably tell from the picture, that’s not the case. As you see, I used an image of Kate Jackson, the “Smart Angel.” And being called the “Smart Angel” is a lot better than calling Moe “The Smart Stooge.”

How do we know Kate is the “Smart Angel?” Because she wears the most clothes. Wait, being told there is more to it than that. Anyway, on to some facts about “Charlie’s Angels.”

1: ‘Charlie’s Angels sounds better than the originally proposed title.

The original name was “Alley Cats.” The show took enough heat as it was, you can only imagine what the fallout would have been if the original title had been used.

2: John Forsythe was not the original Charlie.

Actually, Gig Young was slated for the role but showed up drunk when it came to do his lines. I wonder if he was out with some alley cats. Regardless, Young lost his gig.

3: Farrah Fawcett had an interesting clause in her contract.

You probably don't know my name, but have likely seen my work. I've written for numerous syndicated cartoon strips and my gags have appeared in national pubs.
