Charlie’s Angels was a TV phenomenon during the 70s. And Farrah Fawcett was the breakout star from that show. Her poster is the bestselling of all time, and her hair pretty much had a career of its own. She also had a couple of high-profile marriages. While Farrah certainly had a noteworthy career it seems like she could have had an even more prolific career.

Outside of Charlie’s Angels, I’m hard pressed to think of any of Farrah’s work. I’m sure when I do some more research some of it will come back to me. Really, to be such a celebrity it seems like not that much is known about her. So, here are some things you might not have known about Farrah Fawcett.

1: While ‘Charley’s Angels was a huge hit, Farrah left the series after one year.

She later guest starred in six additional episodes of the series. The term sweeps weeks comes to mind.

2: Farrah attended W. B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi. There she was named “most beautiful” by her classmates in her freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years.
