10 Things You Didn’t Know About Olivia Newton-John
She was probably my favorite female singer.
When Olivia Newton- John passed away a couple of years ago, I wrote about how it was the end of an era. Olivia is one of my favorite female artists of all time. The 60s-80s are my favorite musical time frame. To me, it was an especially good time for female artists.
In addition to her musical career, Olivia is noted for her work in the movie, Grease. I’ve just seen clips of the movie, but some of her work with John Travolta was really enjoyable. As I’ve mentioned before, Olvia’s appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson were really memorable. So, here are some things you didn’t know about Olivia Newton John.
1: Olivia attended Christ Church Grammar School in Melbourne, Australia. She was part of an all-girl group called the Sol Four at the age of 14.
So, she went to a grammar school and still misspelled soul.
2: Initially, Olivia wanted to be a veterinarian, but was skeptical about her ability to pass science tests.
No doubt many animals were disappointed.
