10 Facts About the Loch Ness Monster
It’s about time for another story about Nessie.
I recently did a story that featured Bigfoot. At this point, I figured that I would do a story about another legend, the Loch Ness Monster. A couple of years ago there was a story that indicated that the Loch Ness Monster was actually a dinosaur.
The story which was based on the findings of three universities, indicated that a dinosaur that looks sort of like Nessie could possibly survive in freshwater. So, Nessie could live or have lived in Loch Ness. Of course.
But it was also noted that plesiosaurs, the dinosaurs that looked like Nessie, probably died out with the rest of the dinosaurs.
Maybe Nessie has a better PR agent than Bigfoot. I think I’d rather find Nessie’s agent than Nessie herself. Or have we established Nessie is female? Regardless, I found some things about Nessie you probably didn’t know. After all, why would you?
1: There is a long list of Loch Ness Monster hoaxes.
In 1933 Italian journalist Francisco Gasparini wrote an article about the Loch Ness Monster, but admitted it was a hoax in 1959. While The Monster was a hoax, Gasparini was a pioneer in what is now known as “clickbait.”
