A little while back I wrote a story about the TV show, “Batman.” Obviously, Adam West played a big role in the success of that, but there was so much more to Adam than just that one role. He was an interesting guy. Because of that, and the fact he might be good click bait, I decided to delve a little deeper into the life of Adam West. Below are some things I found.

1: Adam West was reportedly born William West Anderson.

Those are both pretty cool names, but I believe that William West Anderson was the cooler one. For example, drop a “Wild” in there and you have William “Wild West” Anderson. That would have been neat since Adam appeared in some westerns. Also, the initials WWE would have made a great connection with World Wrestling Entertainment.

2: While he was in the army, he was an announcer for the American Forces Network.

Apparently, the Army was looking for a few good voices.

3: Adam was discovered in Hawaii by a Hollywood producer.

In addition, Adam did a TV show in Hawaii called, “The Kini Popo Show.” His costar was a chimp named Peaches. After that, Burt Ward must have looked…
